    With over 15 years of experience in the tree surgery industry, Andrew Hamment is a highly skilled arborist dedicated to preserving and maintaining trees. Holding a National Diploma in Arboriculture, Andy has honed his expertise in tree care, pruning, and preservation.

    Based in Surrey, his passion for the outdoors and scenic landscapes, particularly the Surrey Hills, has driven his commitment to arboriculture. His journey began in school, where he first developed an interest in the cultivation of trees and shrubs, which later evolved into a lifelong career in tree surgery.

    Andy takes pride in his work, ensuring the health and longevity of trees while enhancing natural beauty. His deep knowledge, hands-on experience, and love for nature make him a trusted professional in the field.

This was a difficult job as honey fungus is tough to remove entirely as the section of privet was 8ft high x 7ft wide, which needed replacing with a similar mature hedge. We decided on 7ft Laurel as it is fast growing and thickens up up pretty quickly. It's still early days and the plants need constant watering being very exposed and on chalk but so far it's looking good.
